Simon Wilson is the managing director - Product, Marketing and Communications at Deichmann UK, part of the Deichmann Group, the market leader in European footwear retail.
In his 12th year with Deichmann, he has steered the growth and increasing awareness of the brand in the UK markets by developing engaging marketing campaigns and brand partnerships. He has likewise directed the expansion of their market-leading kids and school footwear collections, making Deichmann a compelling destination for all the family's footwear needs.
Previously Simon spent five years at the supermarket LIDL as Head of Marketing, creating multiple award-winning product initiatives and significantly increasing brand awareness in the UK markets. He has gained all-around business experience holding various senior management roles in product development, marketing and sales in Europe and the US.
Holding an MBA from the University of Birmingham, Simon is passionate about developing people, products, and stories, that demonstrate value and drive loyalty.
