Jane Schaffer is an experienced Accessories Specialist now predominantly working in education. She has held posts at London College of Fashion where she was the subject leader and course leader for Accessories teaching across both HE and Post Graduate courses.

She currently leads Footwear & Accessories at University of Northampton. Other Associate teaching roles include The Royal College of Art, University of DeMontfort, and Brighton University.

She holds external examiner position at University of the Arts London College of Fashion Ma Footwear & Instituto Marangoni for the MA (Hons) Luxury Accessories Design and BA (Hons) Fashion Design & Accessories.

Jane is a published author her book Fashion Design Course: Accessories has become a text book standard for Accessories and Footwear Students across Europe and the US.

She was honoured to be given membership as a Freeman of The Worshipful Company of Cordwainers and sits on the Education and Industry Committee.
