Celebrating the footwear industry

The footwear industry is renowned for its resilience, creativity and innovation.

From suppliers and manufacturers to brands and retailers, and the individuals who design shoes and serve customers, the sector has met and overcome the challenges of the evolving market and is a force to be reckoned with within the fashion retail industry.

Drapers is proud to celebrate the people, businesses, products and strategies that make this sector thrive. There were 15 categories to enter in Drapers Footwear Awards 2024. Businesses had the opportunity to shout about the colleagues who make their business tick by entering Team of the Year, or encourage the next generation of emerging talent with the Student Footwear Designer of the Year category, while Best Sustainable Initiative of the Year praised the positive steps businesses are taking in reducing the impact they have on the environment.

They could also enter themselves for the categories that drive the footwear market, including Women’s Footwear Brand of the Year, Men’s Footwear Brand of the Year and Kids’ Footwear Brand of the Year.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was chosen by the Drapers team and announced on the night.
